These Terms of Use apply to your use of assureme.com.sg (the “Site”). By using the Site you accept them.

1. Who we are and what we do

Assureme Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore general insurance agency, registered under GIA Reg. No. C006542, at 52 Telok Blangah Road, #03-06 Telok Blangah House, Singapore 098829. We are an insurance agent, not an insurer. We do not underwrite risks, issue policies or decide claims. Policies are issued by the insurer, and the insurer’s policy wording governs the cover.

2. General information only

The content on the Site is general information, not personal advice, and not an offer of insurance. Cover, benefits, limits, excess, exclusions and premiums depend on the insurer’s policy wording and underwriting. Always read the policy and ask us about anything you do not understand before you sign a proposal. Information about laws and government requirements (for example from MOM or LTA) is a summary and may change; check the official source.

3. Quotations and cover

Quotations are indicative and subject to the insurer’s terms, excess and exclusions, to underwriting, and to the accuracy of the information you give. Cover starts only when the insurer issues the policy after a signed proposal and payment, unless the insurer confirms otherwise in writing. Please give full and accurate information; failing to disclose material facts or giving wrong information may affect your claim.

4. Contacting us

Messages sent through WhatsApp, phone or email are not guaranteed to be read or answered immediately; please do not use them for urgent claims or emergencies. Contact the insurer’s claims channel shown in your policy for claims. Our office hours are Mon–Fri 8:30am–6:00pm, Sat 8:30am–2:00pm, closed Sundays and public holidays.

6. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, write to us at [email protected] or call +65 8898 8396 and we will acknowledge it and respond as soon as we reasonably can. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may refer the dispute to the Financial Industry Disputes Resolution Centre (FIDReC) at www.fidrec.com.sg, subject to its eligibility rules.

7. Intellectual property

The Site’s content, logo and design belong to Assureme Pte. Ltd. or its licensors. Names and trademarks of insurers belong to their owners. You may view and print the Site for your own personal use, but may not copy or reuse it commercially without our written permission.

8. Links to other websites

The Site links to government and other third-party sites for your information. We do not control and are not responsible for their content.

9. Limitation of liability

We take reasonable care to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from your reliance on the Site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or any right you have under the insurance policy or the law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the Singapore courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting your right to use FIDReC.

We may update these terms and will show the effective date above.
